The mini plant
Initial formulation and production took place in a mini plant at Sebus Restaurant, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. DTI Cavite provided on-site discussion on standardization and product enhancement, concluding in the award of label and label design. The plant remains the trial and testing site for high-value coconut products, with more to come through the forthcoming partnership with Bauertek Farmaceuticals Technology.
Market development
SCMPC committed ₱1,000,000 by board resolution as part of PhilMech compliance. Members who market the products are encouraged to borrow capital from SCMPC, and SCMPC may also market the coconut products of other micro and small-scale producers, domestically and abroad.
